Hermes reads your children's school emails, so you don't miss what the school is asking you to do.

Schools send a lot of email. Somewhere in it is the consent form due Friday, the trip payment due next week, the reading record nobody mentioned again. Hermes reads the school's messages for you, pulls out what actually needs doing, and shows you — by date, and by child — what needs you today, what's coming up, and what you're waiting on.

What it does with your email

It reads only the school mail you choose. You tell Hermes which senders or addresses are your children's schools. Messages from anyone else are not read and not stored.
It never deletes anything. Hermes asks Google only for permission to read your email and to send email. Neither permission can delete or move a single message. That is a limit of the permission itself, not a promise about our code.
It never sends without you. Hermes can draft a reply to the school. It is sent from your own address only after you read it and approve it.
It tells you when it can't see. If Hermes stops receiving your school mail, it says so on your screen, rather than telling you nothing needs attention.
